I did a Hannibal 10 years anniversary ride from Barcelona to Rome 32 days tour with Ride & Seek company. The tour has created an amazing team of guides and trip coordinators. Beyond being skilled at planning out logistics and mapping out gorgeous routes to bike, they are genuinely good people with a range of talents from story-telling of history to curating delicious snacks and lunches to making laugh while climbing those alps and hills.
The trip can be a cycling challenge, but when you are finished, you have made new friends, arrived home more fit and proud of your accomplishments. It creates an unforgettable memories.

In The Netherlands everyone rides a bike from the age of 3-4, but I really started riding in Australia in 2014
Favourite ride of all time and why
For gravel it’s a toss between the plains near Adaminaby where I felt like a cowboy between all the wild brumbies and the Strade Bianche of Tuscany but I have to go with the latter. In the lead up to the first ever UCI World Championships Gravel I had the pleasure of training for 5 days in beautiful Tuscany. The white gravel roads through the vineyards and the historic villages simply took my breath away and made me stop around every corner to take another picture.
For the roadie it is the Stelvio Double Loop which I hope will be surpassed by the Haut Route Alps this year.

A 260km gravel loop of Bowral. The views were magic, great company. The adversity that we overcame was like nothing else, it has made it my most memorable and favourite ride.

I started riding mountain biking around 2004 to fill in my spare time when the surf was flat. Added road riding about 6 years ago and gravel about 18 months ago. Now I surf when it’s too hot or wet to ride :)
Favourite ride of all time and why
Gravel: This year myself and two mates did a 3 day, bike packing trip out the back of Coffs Harbour / Grafton in and around the Nymboida River (thanks to desirelinescc.com.au for the inspo and route). Amazing roads, stunning scenery, great camp spots and loads of hills!
MTB: Have to mention Skyline MTB Park in Queenstown, NZ. Sheez I love that place.

’Stoked For Broke’ ride with Rapha in 2017. An overnight ride from Sydney to Broke and back. We had a great crew riding and it was such a fun experience. Plus it was the first time I’d met my now partner Briony, so it makes it extra special

Always curious to hear other peoples stories, how they got into cycling or what they do for a living. It’s alway nice to learn more from people that we may be different in a lot of ways, but we do share a common passion which is the bike. Oh, food and beer! I do enjoy talking about food and beer too

Since a wee lad... raced BMX from about 12 to 15 years of age... always had a love for bikes lying around the family shed (dads or Bro's) was there in the early days of MTB... did a little DH when in the UK but mainly just shredding local trails... nowadays my go to everyday for everyride is my gravel bike, damn these things are so versatile and a great utilitarian work horse... never the cleanest bike but I didn't buy it to clean it.
Favourite ride of all time and why
500k of the VIC Divide would definitely be up there.... but to be honest it would be those rides where I have been fortunate to share the love of the bicycle with others... Teaching my young ones to ride their bikes is something only a dad can really appreciate but to add to this would be the ride group I created back in Bungendore, The Bungendore Beer Ride, aka BBRAG was about creating a social scene for anyone willing to get on a bike, and yes, we shared a post ride beverage of choice... the ride goes on, every Thursday at 6.30pm where locals enjoy each other's company whilst navigating the set Strava route.
